Teach for OLLI

PROPOSALS FOR FALL 2026 ARE NOW BEING ACCEPTED. DEADLINE: JUNE 12, 4PM.

NOTE: New moderators of multiweek courses must successfully complete the Gateways to Success orientation on Friday, June 18, 1-3:30pm. Accommodations can be made for those who are not local, have a scheduling conflict, or have completed the Teach for OLLI course.

Fall Term Dates: September 22-November 18 

• No classes Veterans Day, Wednesday, November 11.

OLLI at UC is rolling out a new course model: Learn and Do. These classes transform information into action within the structure of the class.

An example of a "Multiweek Course" Learn and Do could be 6 weeks in the classroom to learn about and plan a service project, then 2 weeks outside of the classroom and in the community to execute the project. 

An example of a “Special Program” Learn and Do could be a visit to a local nonprofit for a talk, followed by a service opportunity within the same visit.

Please consider if this model applies to your course proposal or could be an option for your course proposal. 

Select the correct proposal form from the list below.

• Multiweek Course.
• OLLI Sampler (1.25 hour, one-time, in-person presentation suitable for a large audience).
• Wednesday WOW or FAB Friday (2.5 hour, one-time, in-person presentation suitable for a large audience).
• Friday Afternoon Salon (up to 2 hour presentation in person or on Zoom).
• Special Program (field trip, tour, or other one-time class or program that doesn't fit into the above categories).
